A BIT ABOUT US

Company founder Jurie J. Grobler started in the Security Industry in 1997. He started out as n normal security guard and worked his way up to an armed response officer, armed response manager, branch manager, district operations manager, district manager, general manager and Director within 20 years. With extensive knowledge in corporate, retail, industrial, Estates, Security complexes, Farm Protection and Forestry.

With 25 years in the security industry he has gained a lot of experience and attended a lot of courses regarding safety and security which has contributed to his success. In this period, he received letters of thanks from large company’s and town councils. He has received seven service excellence awards for outstanding service and an award of merit for teamwork and bravery. Jurie also received an award for cop of the year in 2007 and is currently the only person to receive this award in the private sector in South Africa. He had been assigned to be a CPO for most of South African celebrities and being part of the event management for the biggest events in South Africa (Innibos; Lowveld Show; Inter High Meeting and this is just to mention a few)

During his time as a Manager in South Africa and internationally he had over 1000 employees working under him and trained a lot of them national and internationally (Mozambique and Swaziland). Most of these employees are in management positions today.

He believes that he has contributed to their success now in life. He is still being asked to advise on security matters by previous clients and employers. He is an honest, loyal and hardworking person with good family values. He is a dedicated person who can commit to any task given. His knowledge and experience are a big advantage for Seal Security’s clients and Seal Security employees.
